No experience required.
What to bring?
Good attitude, Full Tactical Gear, tactical pants, duty belt with handcuffs, training Gun, vest or plate carrier, MMA gloves & mouth guard (optional), water, snacks, and extra T-shirt.
The curriculum of the seminar is designed to comply with federal and state use of force laws. The training focuses on techniques for transitioning to control and handcuff positions in a systematic manner, enabling officers to learn and retain the skills effectively. The specific training topics covered in the seminar include takedowns, team takedowns, ground control and defense, team ground control, small and confined space subject control, contact communication, handcuffing, de-escalation, and weapon retention.

Our seminar is led by highly skilled instructors who are active and retired Law Enforcement Officers, holding Jiu-Jitsu black belts. Rest assured, our courses strictly adhere to State and Federal Law.
Instructors:
Brenin DeOliveira: Active Law Enforcement officer, founder of BJJ COPS program. Achievements include winning the Delariva Cup, Massachusetts Open, and Dragon's Lair Absolute Championships. Also coaches at BTT Jax and holds a 1st Degree BJJ Black Belt under Francisco 'Toco' Albuquerque.
Michael Dweller: With 24 years of dedicated service as a Police Officer and extensive experience as an Active DOJ ICITAP tactical instructor on a mission in Yerevan, Armenia. Notably, played a pivotal role in 2016 by developing and implementing the tactical curriculum for Ukraine, showcasing my expertise in this domain. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 2nd degree black belt.
Luke Crawford: Active Law Enforcement Officer, highly skilled defensive tactics instructor, equipping fellow officers with the necessary skills to effectively handle challenging situations. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt.
Dominic Ryman: Active Law Enforcement Officer, serving as a patrol training officer and a defensive tactics instructor. 2nd-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt.
